Old friends

Some very dear long standing friends called in unexpectedly this morning and it was such a pleasure to chat with them in the garden over a cup of coffee. A is a keen gardener and was interested in all my pots, and Normous and D talked DIY as they always do. How gutters can be so very interesting I cannot imagine! I blipped them through the kitchen window, hence the reflection.
We had a tremendous thunderstorm in the night, it seemed to be right overhead, and it poured with rain for quite a while. But everything needs watering again this evening after a very hot day. Coco has been absent all day, and I guess she has found a shady spot to keep cool.
