Robin and Marian

In the middle of the village of Edwinstowe this statue honours the legend of Robin Hood andMaid Marian. It is thought they were married in the church at the top if this street.

We hired a bike each today and had a great time riding first roads and trails.

The site at Sherwood Pines has mile upon mile of tracks and trails for cycling without cars. We all managed rhe easy green route then after lunch we had a go at the more difficult blue route. Hmmmmm maybe not our best idea! Much more difficult than we anticipated. So we took a short cut and decided a cup of tea was a better idea than tackling the most difficult red route!
