Cirque des Pirates

Today we attended a performance of a new show called Cirque des Pirates. It was being performed by the CSUN Drama Workshop group and was really really well done. The story stars a young boy called Ben who is supposed to be doing a school project on 17th century pirates. As he studies - or not - he meets pirates galore including Captain Hook and Captain Jack Sparrow. He also meets mermaids including these two delightful ladies who agreed to have their photo taken with my little mermaid - who was warned and had gone in her Ariel costume!
It was a great show, great costumes, wonderful and amazing scenery for a show running just 2 weeks and a fantastic array of talent on show.
It runs for another week for anyone interested!!
We had a busy rest of day too and found our first baby watermelon and baby cantaloupe melon in our garden!! Photos to come in the next few days - the arrival of the skunk stopped me from taking any photos tonight!! Run away!!!!
