Deluge

We were sitting at the garden table with a cup of tea, feeling relaxed after a big lunch when the heavens opened. A quick rush to get the cushions inside, and we thanked our lucky stars it hadn't happened earlier. It stopped as quickly as it started and left everything dripping wet.
The elderflower ice cream was popular! It was good to see young George, taking in his stride his arm in plaster.
