Tiger Lily Time.
These little guys are popping up all over the place, and they'll stay around for a good while yet. They are virtually indestructible. Some years ago the Redhead pulled up clumps of them and threw them into a rubble and dead leaf filled ditch between the back patio and the fence to dry out. They happily took root, and flowered again the following year. Tough little beggars, but they look very fetching growing beside the patio, and I love the colours.
It was too hot today to go anywhere or to do anything other than put the feet up and enjoy a frozen cider (I have that process down to a fine art), so this lazy garden blip is it.
Thanks to all who were interested in yesterday's Bird Man. There are more snaps on a blipfolio if you're interested.
