blue distance

Hotter than ever. I had the day at home by myself and tried housework but it was too hot for anything really.
We made to the beach for six-ish again though. It was all hazy blue distance, and with no jellyfish this time.
I'd love to take the shot of what I see when I am chin deep in the water - this view plus the undulating waves that look so different from that angle, but I dont dare risk the camera.

Unexpectedly the girl is coming home for a weekend visit. Her Dad has gone up to the airport to get her and I am waiting in happy anticipation.
