Giants

It was hard to be in the office today, with all the sunshine and warmth outside. Still I persisted and after a hot cycle ride home we drove out to Peebles. This photograph was taken at about 9:00pm as the sun was going down over the hills. The air was still very warm and the light was golden. All was silent apart from the sound of a few birds calling. I could smell the recently cut hay from a near by field. A moment of perfection. Could these be giants coming out in the twilight?
