River Gipping
I walked along the tow path from Sproughton (Spraw - as in straw - ton) to Bramford (Bra-mford) this afternoon in glorious sunshine. There were some Tortoiseshell Butterflies, Honey and Bumble Bees and some Dragonflies and a Swan swimming on the river. But I thought I would share the view of the Gipping as it gently meanders through the water meadows. It is a fresh water and non-tidal river and flows past my garden to join the River Orwell at Ipswich and ultimately flows to the North Sea.
