Wet

Up reasonably early and skipped all the usual lazing and breakfasting to pack up and get everything in the car before the rain started again. That all worked out fine and Beano's Sandwiches in Haltwhistle provided sausage and bacon rolls and some slightly flavoured hot liquid that was supposed to be coffee.

Quick scoot up the road, unpacked and slightly damp things draped over every available thing. The main drying event will tai enlace overnight as the tent is spread across the kitchen floor and the Aga earns its keep by drying it out before morning.

The photo: there was discussion in the tent about the validity of the monkey Ewan had taken with him. He had taken the Usurper monkey third from the right whereas the Original Jellycat monkey is second from the right. The all time original monkey's whereabouts are unknown. He was small and from Gap. Still, that was enough to prompt a collection and display of the Jellycats.
