Sunday shocker!!!!!

Dearie me! Starting the day with a few episodes of Highway to Heaven is an OK way to begin a Sunday but after Little House On The Prairie yesterday, you could call it a Michael Landon overdose. I am fighting the urge to log onto work and check my Oracle System Admin mailbox. I am keeping fingers crossed that it isn't too overflowing when I start back to work a week tomorrow.

I chopped an onion while the commercial break was on. I know how to live! Mom nearly put me off onions completely when I was a child. She used to peel them but then put them whole into stews and casseroles. Horrible!

I decided to walk up to the Secret Garden cafe to take a picture of the little waterfall nearby. I stupidly wasn't wearing my walking boots and only had black canvas pumps on. I was squelching by the time I reached the end of the path! As for my light blue jeans they'd turned dark blue as the rain went up my stick-like legs with capillary action. My clothes are now all in the airing cupboard as are my shoes with the steam rising off them. The steam is rising off the pavement outside now too as the sun has now put in appearance to laugh at me.

I am just sat here with my apple pie from earlier repeating. Apple pie repeating I say.... Sorry..

In other news, I'm going on a Waverley trip tomorrow afternoon! I'm taking the Ailsa Craig cruise which leaves Ayr South Harbour which is a ten minute walk up the road from here. Woohoo!
