Windermere sailing

What a difference a day makes! A dry day in the Lakes with the sun putting in an appearance. We both enjoyed our earlier runs although two mistakes will no doubt drop me down the order today.

On the way back we stopped on the shores of Windermere to take some pictures of the lake. These young sailors were being challenged by a strong breeze and had just avoided capsizing. The rescue boat responded with some timely advice.

We then enjoyed a wander around Ambleside, through the park to the lake side. Happy memories of boys playing on the waters edge and lovely to see families enjoying the improved weather.
