This stretch of water is a favourite spot for fishermen. They take their boats out into the bay and upon return they are always greeted by these Pelicans.
They seem to know that fish is on the menu.

This one was so tame you could almost touch it and if I had a fish in my hand it would gladly have accepted it I'm sure.

It could hardly walk it was so fat and waddled along showing how well fed from its encounter with the fishermen.
