singing in the rain
Let ivy out into the garden to play in puddles this afternoon. The suit she's wearing was a gift from John and Maureen- and altough it's slightly too big, all the adjustable bits made it fit quite nicely. I think Ivy may have a better waterproof that I currently do. Not sure what to do about her feet for puddle playing though- these little shoes are getting small and the smallest wellies I can find are size 4. (Ivy's feet still arn't quite size 1 yet)
This morning, I ended up with bite marks on my cheek from a particuarly enthusiastic Ivy kiss. The way her open mouth lunges at you reminds me of a shark attack.
We're now sitting in Ivy's room whilst she falls asleep for naps and this morning I got trapped upstairs by her- she looked like she was asleep, but whenever I stood up to leave her eyes would snap open and she'd sit up until I sat back down. I have no idea how she was managing it- I think she might have only been pretending to be asleep, in order to work out how long she could make me stay in one place.
In the afternoon she went to soft play with Euan.
Ivy has taken to grinding her teeth- and it is the most distirubing sound. It makes my skin crawl. Both Euan and I really really really hope she stops soon.
