Frog in pastels

A quick sketch today in art class of a frog. I used oil pastels on black paper so it almost looks like chalk on a blackboard. I almost didn't go to class today because I had such a restless night of sleep. I woke up feeling hung over.

Somehow I pushed myself to get there and I'm glad I did. My art teacher always makes coffee for us and everyone takes turns bringing in a little cake or snack to go with the coffee. That second cup of coffee helped me perk up and create this pastel drawing.
