Bitty but busy day today....

Mrs madwill took our daughter and granddaughter home this morning. I repaired the fixings for our lounge curtain pole which we had noticed was drooping a little. When I took of the curtains I decided that they were so grubby they needed to be cleaned - so one at a time they were washed and hung out to dry.

Whilst they were drying I went out with the dogs - on a longish walk. Took this from one of the lanes looking back towards Clifford. I do wish there was another bale to fill the gap on the left.

As I suffered no ill effects from the old sausages that I liberated from the icebound freezer yesterday, I finished off the remains of the pack today for lunch. Very nice they were too.

After lunch, curtains were rehung - looking so much better now. Another batch of beer was set up.

Home made Rogan Josh for tea - with a pseudo mango chutney made from an overgrown courgette. Starter was poppadoms with a home made spicy mango chutney. All washed down with home made made beer!
