A day in Harris

Seeing our trip to St. Kilda was cancelled because of a strong south westerly wind, my mum and I decided to have a day out in Harris instead. We went to Scalpay and walked out to Eilean Glas lighthouse - it's my third time out there this year, but my mum has never been and it's a lovely walk, so I was happy to go again. After that we went to the Scalpay Community Cafe for some lunch (their chips are amazing!). Then it was off to Luskentyre beach for a while. It was a day of sunshine and showers, but we somehow managed to avoid the showers and both caught the sun on our faces.
