Rumbled
We went down to Cowes with the intention of watching some racing only to find all competition had been abandoned due to lack of wind so instead wandered through the town and esplanade to indulge in some candid snaps.
It was good fun snapping the various characters passing by but I think my paparazzi techniques were spotted on this occasion by these two delightful young ladies.
The highlight of the week was the evening display by the Red Arrows followed later by a spectacular fireworks extravaganza. Sadly torrential rain tried to spoil the party but it didn't deter the Arrows who put on an impressive performance in near darkness or the thousands of people on boats and the shore from enjoying the fireworks. We managed to get a good view from home through an upstairs window.
