Calders of Doune

Off on our summer holidays in Scotland, we drove from Nottingham to Doune via stopovers at Jedburgh (for tea and a wee and the temperature hitting 28 degrees!) and the Middleman household in Edinburgh. There was no cake! A bit of an evening stroll around Doune (Katie stayed at the hotel to catch up on the Readers Digest 'Mysteries of the Unexplained') was cut short by light rain (temperature now down to 14!) and general fatigue, so went for a drink in the hotel bar instead.
