Making a bicycle

These are our electric bikes and for Shape Saturday, i decided to have a look at the sorts of shapes you get in the wonderful machine we call a bike. We have a combination of curves and straight lines which are rather fascinating.

Super Handyman Husband is an engineer and he is always interested in programmes about a variety of engineering projects - we were intrigued by the programmes about the Cross Rail London project - straight lines going through wonderfully circular tunnels.

Variety is what is needed in so many aspects of our lives - the straight and the curvy. Our bikes took us a long way for us today up a local rather steep hill - mercifully not to long - but we managed it and I for one am feeling rather pleased with myself - thanks to curves and straights!
