Grassington
Despite the forecast, we decided to have a ride out on the bike today and ended up doing a little tour of Yorkshire.
Some of our route was part of the Le Grand Depart (Tour de France); this was evident from the writing sprayed along the roads.
Temperature wise, it was pleasant....except for the times it rained! But we soon dried off, mainly due to the really strong winds. It was a little bit scary at times, but I always have faith in Mr A's riding abilities to get us from A to B and back again, in one piece.
He decided on Grassington before we set off; we'd heard it was a popular choice with walkers and bikers (cycle & motor) and it's somewhere we've said we would go to a few times, but never have.
It was a lovely little place; plenty of tearooms and quaint little shops dotted around the cobbled streets.
We had a wander and a coffee, then set off home again.
I was glad to get home, have a hot shower and get my onesie on....that's me done for the day!
