George Street.

Took No 3 in to the Book Festival. Always a great place to hang about for a while. Spotted john Gordon Sinclair signing books and trying to look interested!

A walk up George Street (surprisingly empty - and it wasn't even raining this time!), to the bungee jumping out side Haymarket. Prices have gone up (probably just for the festival !) - but No 3 had brought her purse and wanted to bounce.

Back down past the mound and some excellent street performers.

We nipped into the Galleries at the mound, No 3 loved it !

According to No 3:

Gainsborough paints nice hands
Rubens ladies are a bit chubby
'Proper' portraits have great big frames.

I promised to take her back when it was quieter.
