Skaters

My new footwear obsession! Skater shoes. I need to stop buying them now I think. My third pair arrived this morning. Perfect for Autumn and let's face it, it's Autumn. There's no pussyfooting around it anymore - there's a chill in the air, the leaves are falling, as are conkers and even the birds are migrating.

I've never known an August like it. I'm conflicted about how I feel about it. On the one hand it seems too soon but what's the alternative? I hate muggy August days. When it's grey and humid yet really sweaty. This does seem preferable.

Had a horrible nursery drop off again. Think Audrey knows she's moving upstairs. Picked her up and she'd had a good day though. She seems to like it up there. She only slept half an hour so was in a rotten mood tonight. Meltdown Central. Put Frozen on, wrapped her in a blanket on the sofa and gave her a peanut butter sandwich and some milk. All better.
