Recycled
Another great day. Morning walk along part of the Fife Coastal Path to watch seals basking on the rocks. Train over the Forth Bridge for another day at the festival. First stop was the Craft Fair where I got some presents for friends and daughters. The most popular stall seemed to be the one with the statement jewellery made from watch workings, old brooches etc - recycling in an innovative way. Then Mark Thomas's show about the spies who infiltrate anti-arms trade groups, trade unions and environmental groups - raw and passionate. A crazy dash from that in the Traverse, Lothian Road, down to The Playhouse on Leith Walk, in 15 minutes - so Lady Findhorn, this tourist was doing her best not to get in the way or hold anybody up. Made it just in time for the wonderful Piña Bausch dance company - so sensual, fluid, funny - just breathtakingly beautiful. On the 11.20 train back to Fife but held up for 30 minutes while police had to get on board to sort out a fracas - the referendum debate had got over-heated (in the next carriage, not us).
