Carlos......

from the Megalong Valley!

Whenever I visit the Megalong Valley Team Rooms I look for this wonderful little Jack Russell who goes by the name of Carlos! He's a very friendly little chap and reminds me so much of Georgie Wall. Georgie and I were inseparable for 16 and a half years and I still tear up whenever I think of her, which believe me is on a regular basis.

If you're a blipper who has owned a Jack Russell you will understand immediately what I'm talking about. They are one of the most soulful little dogs you will ever meet. We had a power struggle from the time she came into my life and we both loved every minute of it. I secretly think Carlos knows how I feel when I'm with him and always gives me plenty of opportunity to connect for a while and have a chat and a pat.

We went down to the valley again today with our wonderful friends Jim and Marg. It was Jim's birthday just before CCN's and we had our traditional lunch together to celebrate. I think they wondered what was going on when I jumped out of the car and ran to the truck to greet Carlos. You have to be a blipper to understand the sudden call to action that can take priority over just about everything!!
