carpenter bee.........

A really hectic day! My work permit is ready for renewal (its every 2 years). I need to get copies of all my certificates certified by a lawyer each time (what do they do with all the copies I wonder???). So I went to the lawyer who of course was not available and I left them to collect later (for a steep fee I might add!!).

Then I headed off to the income tax office to pay my dues so that I can present my receipt for the permit. Well......the office was gone - it was empty and there were no signs to tell me where they had gone to. Eventually after asking some of the watchmen I was told the general direction - I found it just before lunch time by which time I was hot and sticky! Paid my tax and have to go tomorrow for the receipt - its the first day in their new office and nothing works yet, lol!!! Oh and then I had to go and get passport photos - everything in duplicate of course!!!

Got all that done before lunchtime which was something. Coming home I found this carpenter bee busy making his nest in the wood attached to the roof of my house - they are enormous and can be real pests! Another thing to deal with........
