My world is a great big onion!
I won't say it was a waste of a day off as I did get a few things done, just not half as much as I intended. It was a very dreary day and I didn't even wake up until 8am which is really late for me. It was a quick shower and then I was downstairs making myself a cheese, onion and tomato omelette for breakfast which I ate in the kitchen listening to the radio while watching Lucky swiping at Eric.
I tapped on the window to move them on and then went out to refill all the feeders. It was a very quiet day out there. I think the dreary weather has put them all off!
Tesco Man arrived soon after that. It was the one who I hit in the face with the front door a while back stopping a bumble bee the size of a jumbo jet from flying into the house. Yes I know that bee is like the thing fishing stories are made of and increases in size whenever I mention it. It was really huge though!
Strangely, instead of ordering one onion, I have ordered a whole big bag of them so will be eating onions for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next couple of weeks. I can't try them out on the birds either. Cereal is one thing but onions won't do as bird food at all. Oh well...
Nothing else happened at all today. I took a few pictures, opened up my wardrobe door to start having a clear-out but my stomach rumbled and so I shut the door and decided to have a late Richmond Irish Sausages (the thin ones) sandwich lunch instead.
Now I am wondering what to have for dinner. More sausages (with onions) probably...
These two little sparrows were enjoying a tasty lunch of suet pellets and mealworms. I thought they were rather sweet!
Go large!
