Happy birthday to Adam!

Adam turns seventeen today, now longer my little boy but at 6 ft 2 inches quite a big lad! He was born 17 months after Luke and they have always been very close. Seventeen at last - about to start his last year at school, Upper Sixth (year 13) which in Australia and South Africa would be his first year of university. This will be a big year for him, he has his university applications to do in the next month and he is aiming high, so quite a bit of pressure on him.

This montage is of him at 5 months old (taken at his Christening lunch), then when he was about 3 and 3/4, then at 14 years old and a recent one taken last week - no recent portrait as he won't let me take a portrait!

He is away this week on rugby training, so I won't even get to see him until hopefully Friday evening. He went off yesterday with a large chocolate cake which I am sure will be demolished within seconds as the boys get off the pitch tonight.

Other than that it is rather grey and blah at the moment, and as the season starts to change I find it is getting harder to find something inspiring to photograph.
