An apple a day

While it was fine & dry this afternoon, I picked our apples. It's not a bad crop this year either.

I'm donating them to Papa A, since I don't have time or the inclination to do much with them before our holiday and besides, he will make wondrous things with them :-)

What I really wanted to blip was our visiting woodpecker, but he's so fast I have no chance. Most of the time the only way we know he's been is because the peanut feeder swings like a pendulum when he flies off!

I had the afternoon off today, so my sister called round for me to go through her 'frog sitting' duties. She's had frogs before (she was the one who insisted I get them) so I know Joy is in good hands :-)
