Peaceful

It was a beautiful peaceful start to the morning when I got up so I took a few seconds to capture the moment. I didn't have the time to wait for the wee ferry to get into position so the composition could have been better. Meeting all morning then usual busy day in the nursery in the afternoon. Relaxing night watching the Bake Off which is now a family event followed by some time painting and sketching in my art journal. This week was faces, if I was just to sit down and draw a random face it would be female so I challenged myself to do a man instead, it was fun playing with acrylics and oil pastels as most pages I've done recently have been collage, doodles or watercolours.
