Teddys Pool
I really like this photo of everyone engaged in rock pooling at the best and biggest rock pool ever.
Teddys Pool at the Eperquerie is one of India and Heidi's favourite places on Sark, as it was for myself and my brother and sister. It is a huge rock pool with big fish swimming around and lots of shrimps and little shoals of fish. With patience, bread and a net you can usually catch a respectable size fish. It wasn't particularly sunny there today but we had a good mess around trying to catch the wiley fish. We left at 5pm to get India to the Island Hall so she could do her Collection of Wild Flowers arrangement for the Grand Autumn Show.
Before we had left for Teddys pool I put some joints of Sark lamb in the oven to cook for 7 hours, we had a lovely feast in the evening. I had another practice of my walnut scones and lemon curd filled poppyseed muffins.
