night time

this is the view at night time from our balcony.

We had an adventure today, we visited a beach nearby which lots of people recomended, we got the bus there, wandered around the beach then my teenage son decided rather than wait for the bus back home he would like to walk. I don't mind a walk especially in the sun, however we soon realised we had no money with us and no drink in temperatures of 38 or so I am informed! we kept watching for the bus to pass us with Mr C and Miss C on board but it never came. we walked for what seemed like miles like Robinson Crusoe and Friday only it was Wednesday and with no money we had to keep walking. My toes had blisters between them where my phillipe philloppes had rubbed but were ok on return. The bus never did pass us because we actually got back before the bus so I think we walked about 1/2 an hour if that. we were pleased with ourselves. but on return we had no key for the apartment as the others had it! they soon arrived back and we had a well earned drink and rest.

The afternoon was spent chillin hy the pond. This was followed by a night in the pub and to watch Bradford City beat Leeds united, apparently one of the scorers for bradford used to work in the coop! we had that on good authority!!
