Dixcart Bay

Lazy start to the day and by the time the picnic was packed up it started to rain. I was so cross!! We had an indoor picnic whilst it rained and rained then started watching the Lego Movie. The sun came out and I was off the sofa, backpack and shoes on, stood outside in a flash. No one else moved off the sofa. After some pleading my lovely goddaughter Ruby came to the beach with me. Beautiful sunshine rewarded us and and we had a chat with the only other person on the beach. The others were down later and India had a swim in the sparkling sea. We walked to Beau Sejour for dinner, Malaysian lobster curry for me.

The stars were unbelievable on the way home, such dark clear skies. I had another unsuccessful cold hour outside trying to take blurry night sky photos.
