Fish And Chips On The Beach....

....well, not exactly, but I wish it had been. It's a mural on the wall of the local chippie and since new people have taken over I was told it was rather good traditional English fish and chips. Quite basic, but clean and the food was tasty and plenty of it. No hint of Chinese or any other cooking aromas in there. So there I was, enjoying a nice piece of cod whilst looking out to sea. A couple of young Asian girls came in and had their photos taken against the background with their take away bags of chips. Maybe we could do with a few more traditional English restaurants as well as all the diverse cuisine. The many tourists here would probably like to try something different.
