Fishing For Tiddlers.

Enjoying the last few days of the school holidays, this little girl was paddling in her wellies, fishing for tiddlers. A scene that reminded me of my own childhood days, when armed with a net made from a beanpole, the foot of an old stocking and a wire coat hanger, my siblings and I would fish for tiddlers and sticklebacks. My brothers would carefully carry theirs home, but my sister and I would tip ours in the nearby paddling pool !!
