Cheers to the Elderflower

A day at home recovering from my late arrival back in Edinburgh after my trip. This design is of an elderflower on a bottle of elderflower cordial that I have in my kitchen. I rather liked it and the effect of the light shining through the bottle. The elderflowers are long gone this year but the berries on the bushes which line the canal are now turning a deep black and will soon be ready for harvesting - by birds and humans! My grand father used to make wine from elder flowers and I think also the berries. He always opened a bottle for Christmas dinner and as it was rather potent it soon had the adults feeling rather merry! Cheers to the lovely elder flower... and my grandad!
