Since yesterday was Labor Day, I thought I should post a picture of what I did on my day off. My family got together and ate lunch. There was a variety of different things to eat. There were baked beans, parsley potatoes, sausage, chicken, chips and salsa, and many delicious desserts. After we ate, my cousin, Jackson, asked if I would play wiffle ball with him. This is a picture of Jackson playing wiffle ball. He absolutely loves baseball, or anything close to baseball. He would play every second or every day if he could. So, I went over to the yard with him and we took turns throwing each other some pitches. We had a bat that had a really big barrel on the end, so when we hit the ball, it went pretty far. The neighbors were having a pool party yesterday, and their pool is close to where we were hitting the wiffle balls. Jack’s uncle made a deal with him. He said that if he could hit the ball so hard that is cleared the fence, the tree, and landed in the pool, he would give him one hundred dollars. This made things very interesting because there were wiffle balls flying everywhere. We hit about thirty pitches, but none of them went into the pool. Even though Jack didn’t win his money, we still had a good day. We always have so much fun when our family gets together for picnics!
