Volleyball Game!

Last night we had a volleyball game. This is a picture of our JV team after they scored a point. Both Varsity and JV won last night, and both teams played really well. Last night’s game was pretty exciting for me because I had a really good friend who played for the other team, and I didn’t see her for a long time. She came to our school for freshman and half of sophomore year, and she definitely left her mark. She is so funny, and definitely one of a kind. Being the new girl in school can sometimes make it hard to make new friends. At first, we didn’t know how to take her. Was she kidding? Was she serious? We weren’t sure. It wasn’t until about halfway through freshman year that my friend Lex and I became really good friends with her. We were laughing constantly. She made a lot of other friends, too. Everyone was so sad when she decided to go back to her old school. Before she moved to our school, I knew of her because our dads knew each other. Her dad was the football coach, and I was a water girl for the football team, so she helped me a lot with that. We did some things outside of school, too. The time I remember the most was when we went to Chuck e Cheese. We had so much fun there, even though we were about 10 years older than the other kids there. There are so many memories that I will never forget, and it was really good to see her last night!
