Dwight Beach at sunset

Linda and I toodled around in cottage country for a second day. It was supposed to rain but it ended up only just raining overnight. It was overcast but the sun broke out later as we drove up to the hamlet of Dwight and the nearby town of Huntsville where ended up having lunch at On the Docks pub (I had a cheddar and ale soup, Linda had cream of mushroom and we shared a plate of pierogies). We sat on a root-top patio overlooking the river while I quaffed down a local Muskoka Cream Ale.

We found this lovely little beach in the morning and came back later after supper in Dwight at The Bush Company Bar & Grill. I had a Big Crunch Chicken Breast Sandwich with hot sauce. Linda had a Chicken Wrap. Both of us had sides of fries and a diet Coke. Back at the inn we had a nice cup of hot Earl Grey tea as we watched the moon rise and the stars come out. We head home, tomorrow.
