Adding a bit of colour

On what looks right now to be a very grey day.

Awful game of squash with Tim last night. It's been maybe 4 weeks since we last played and the extent to which our game has deteriorated in that time is incredible. The old idiom 'use it or lose it' seems to take on greater meaning the older you get. On the plus side, I did win, just, but not a memorable victory.

Caught up with the GBBO after the game. Poor Martha looked ready to burst into tears when they tore into her custard tart, but it was a mess. I can't believe I am discussing baking when a rant about some social injustice is more my style. Whatever next?
