I've got knickers like this!

Well that got today off to a fine start! I was getting ready to set off on the journey to Ayr and I was flicking through the 2015 Good Beer Guide which had arrived yesterday. All my favourite Ayr haunts were in there -
The Glen Park Hotel (Ayr Brewing Company), The West Kirk, The Twa Dugs and The Abbotsford and a couple I'd not tried before.

I closed the book which is quite heavy anyway and it slipped out of my hand, straight onto my left big toe. Owwww!

I was slightly annoyed and exclaimed, 'Oh dear! How clumsy of me! I really must be more careful...'
or something very similar anyway. It hurt putting my boots on and now I am here at mom's I don't want to them off in case I can't get them back on again and am stuck in for the night! I could go out in my slippers I suppose as they are black...

The Scottish Airshow is on this weekend at Prestwick and Ayr with fun fairs, beer tents, stalls everywhere and this lovely bus so I'll hopefully have a good wander about tomorrow.

Just be glad I didn't post a picture of my toe!
