What will you make?

We have been to Dad's today.

It was that or go to watch AFC Fylde away at Oxford City, where they won 8-1.

The apple tree has produced a splendid crop of Bramley apples as you can see here.

We have brought some home to cook with.
Another load is going to work where I shall sell them for Teenage Cancer Trust donations.

Dad has the rest to give to friends for them to cook (or ferment.....).

We had a beautiful lunch at the Fox and Pheasant at Armathwaite and learned that the landlord is taking over the empty pub in Dad's village.

I do hope they can make a go of it in a pub that has struggled in recent years.

Mrs. P did some gardening at Dad's, we caught up with my sister and brother and their families.

And we stayed a lot longer than we planned.

It's been a very, very good day.
