Yes it is Valentine's Day and yes I did attempt to blip a red rose.

Flowers (as I mentioned in a previous blip) are actually really hard to blip - for me that is. My camera (always good to blame the equipment, not the user:-) does not focus well on tiny details - or I have not yet found out how to get the focus to stay on what I want it to focus on. I may well raise this problem in one of the forums some time soon.

But even with all the above-stated difficulties I still decided to use a flower blip but to crop it and try and make it a bit more interesting. I've chosen this one in particular because it shows the colour and texture of the rose best.
