Hello Blipper

I went back to The Red Lion for lunch today.

It has been totally refurbished (extended to about four times its size and completely changed.) Very nice to look at and a wonderful garden and patio area for when the sun shines, like today.

However, the food was not as good as last week and the service, decidedly lax. Maybe they haven't quite got the formula right. It is expensive but when it was just magical, like last time, somehow it didn't seem to be an issue.

I was wondering about this as I walked back across the car park, when I noticed this gorgeous horse in the field next door.
