The Stand-out Yellow Kangaroo Paw

What a lovely sunny afternoon Saturday afternoon was (back blipping) and I noticed from a distance this one rogue yellow among the display of usual orange kangaroo paw blooms in the garden of Hawke House. I've taken a lot of photos of kangaroo paw. Hard to do this intrigueing plant and its flower justice. And shooting a macro distorts the exquisite delicacy of these strings of individual small blooms on their stem. No mistaking here however why the yellow took my eye.
