Yea! Roof!
Not actually finished yet, and the supply of worms from this particular can is yet to entirely dry up, but time to celebrate the return of the slating.

One thing that was reinforced today: any 'service provider' (phone, electricity, gas,... don't ask) where no-one will give you a surname are to be avoided. Especially commercial utilities companies claiming initially just to be the recorder of who provides what to whom, but then goes on to offer 'a better deal' .. yeah right. Goodbye.

Walked round the garden this evening noting which trees need work - specifically, cutting the dead bits off. In Cambridge I'd have done that. Here, those bits are up to 80ft up, and BIG. I don't do 80ft up.
In Cambridge I'd not be able to completely miss 30ft trees when walking round the garden. The scale of this place is still awesome.
Tree Man coming tomorrow,
and Rod the Roofer,
and hopefully plumber #3.

Edit: Just noticed it's exactly a year since we first arrived in Malvern on the (then stealth) hunt for a B&B to buy.
