R-day

Pretty much all over bar the shouting on independence referendum day. All good spirited round our neck of the woods anyway. We had a posse of YES supporters at our polling station who seemed to mostly be enjoying a seat out on a nice day! Our eldest L had a vote this year, as a 16 year old, so voting was a bit of a family affair. Our youngest has been reading up on all the issues and opinions so he at least felt a part of the day too.

And the subject of my recent plotting and planning.....the local village store and tearoom has been up for sale for quite some time and it's owners suddenly announced it will close on Saturday. Myself and my friend are looking into taking it over.......as you can imagine it's going to take time and a lot of negotiations but I do hope we might manage to come to a deal. Wish me luck!
