Piazza San Fedele, Como

This piazza is a little way back from the Lake front. An attractive piazza with these buildings on one side and a church on the other side.

The weather was not looking great so we decided to take the bus into Como. The lakeside road is quite narrow in places, single file. The bus was in the middle of one of these sections when it encountered a tourist coach coming the other way.

Normally a large vehicle triggers a traffic light to ensure this inconvenience does not happen. For some reason the light had not changed for either the bus or the coach. Presumably it was bad luck they both entered the single file section simultaneously from opposite directions. With not a little skill the driver was able to reverse back to a point where the coach could get past.

The return to Lenno in the late afternoon was less eventful, though there was a bit of a row at the back of the bus for some reason which we did not pick up.
