Not if...but WHEN
It is one of those times, when you know something is going to happen.
I work in a cubicled jungle. I moved over by the window about 3 1/2 years ago. I sit over looking Interstate 8 where it connects and disconnects with the 805 Freeway.
I have seen some fender benders, one young woman slid across 3 lanes and down an embankment and into a lamp pole.
I can see out of my periferial vision when the traffic slows, I was getting ready to wrap up for the day and looked out the window. I can typically call it, but today, I had no idea it would be a motorcycle. I watched this poor guy fishtailing and down he went, the motorcycle running 50 yards ahead of him, cars breaking fast.
My heart was racing, I can only imagine what the folks on the freeway must be feeling.
Many people stopped, a woman in scrubs, we were hoping she was a nurse. The police, fire truck and paramedics all arrived and took him a way on a gurney. His bike was leaving on a tow truck.
The California Highway Patrol website said hit and run.
It happened so fast, it did seem like he could have been hit, but I just saw him wobbling.
I just pray he is ok!
I was shook up!
Be Safe people!!!!
All the best!!!
