Thomas wants a kilt

Thomas arrived in time to play with Ella and Nathaniel before they went back home. He is staying the night as his parents are having a last night out before the new baby arrives. We went to the show in the next village, and admired the dogs, home baking and craft competitions, ate chips (don't tell mum), watched the birds of prey and he was fascinated by the local pipe band which played as the fell race started. He wrapped his blanket round like a kilt - he has some Scottish blood from us though his dad is totally Irish and his mum was born in England.
