Unaccustomed as we are...

We have had a lazy morning face timing daughters, then got a taxi to our new hotel, which is part of the Galapagos group deal. What a contrast from our previous one where our cheap room was above the kitchen and overlooked a wall with the rubbish bin yard - here we have aircon, double-glazing, a squishy sofa, a view over rooftops to a hill beyond, and a minibar which will not be opened - a miniature of Johnnie Walker is $28US.

I expect I can get used to it.
